Research And Design Of Real-Time Data Platform For Advanced Control Software

Advanced control software is widely applied in process industry, but it has bad integration and interaction each other. It is difficulty for enterprise in implementing advanced control software to display overall superiority. So the integration and systematization among advanced control softwares is development trend. Under this background, this paper studies real-time data platform (RTDP) for advanced control software, and the main data communication way by OPC technology. The platform not only provides better support for advanced control software, but also realizes data exchange between enterprise production and advanced control software. The platform lays the foundation to promote application of advanced control software.Firstly, this paper introduces the knowledge of integrated platform and advanced control software merchandises simply. Finally it analyses detailedly the necessary and function of the platform, and presents design goal and structure of integrated platform.The emphasis of this paper is to research and design of RTDP for advanced control software. Advanced control software needs massive field real-time or the historical data to satisfy the need of control algorithm. So it requests that the platform has the common real-time database basic function. It must follow the correlative design principle of real-time database when to design the platform. The paper carries on the design thought and realization method of RTDP based on DLL. A method of sharing main memory database in multithreading by means of memory mapping file in DLL is presented. The interfaces of RTDP are also given. The function modules of RTDP are divided into several little function modules by OOP. It uses multi-thread thought to transfer each module. Finally the paper designs and realizes the real-time data access interface of the platform——OPC client.The RTDP for advanced control software provides the advanced control software with real-time data service, thus has put up data exchange bridge between enterprise production and advanced control software. The research and design has the practical significance and value for the implementation of advanced control software.
