Form 90s of 20th century on, superhighway construction of our nation has stepped towards the high-speed development. During the development and construction of this decade, our country has been the big kingdom of superhighway. The mileage of superhighway's transportation has rocketed to the second of the world. And the mileage of superhighway's transportation of our province has been the third place of our nation. The development of superhighway of the coastal area and Eastern area far exceed the development of the Western area. The stable and continuous development of Chinese' economy will inevitably speed up the development of the Western area and promote the construction of superhighway of the Western area.Xin zheng superhighway is the section which lies in the main line of Jingzhu nation's traffic road and near to Henan province. The main road of the whole traffic road is designed to have six-road and eight-road with two-sided, the wide range of the base of road is from 35 meters to 42.5 meters, the central area is 3 meters. The speed is 120 miles per hour. There are 6 interconnected crossing bridges (one is preserved) and among them there is one special large bridge. The circular min mean curve is 1000 meters and the max slope is 3%.About the construction of superhighway, roads bridges monitoring centers fee charge station sing plates are inevitable hardware equipments. In order to monitor and control the situations of traffic, car inspectors in shape of circular line microwave car inspectors atmosphere inspectors and sight inspectors large-scale changeable information and small-scale changeable information sign and remote cameras are installed along with the superhighway. So the development of a suite of software system can make these equipments corporately work ,which is very necessary to the service of superhighway.The project of web monitoring system of superhighway, which are based on the technology on GIS are promoted. In order to adjust our nation's need for the development of superhighway and fill with the blank place of this area. Differentfrom existing system, this system is a superhighway monitoring system which oriented to web-to-web. While realizing real-time overall monitoring the superhighway, it make the most of road section monitoring with center of road-web, thus the gathering, sharing and issuing of the information on superhighway web can be completed. With contemporary GIS technology, it provide a secondary decision supporting background with a friendly interface and easy-to-operate. It can provide some monitoring and decisive evidence for monitoring department and decision department.This paper is designed according to the need of Xin Zheng superhighway(the section is from Xinxiang,Hennan to Zhengzhou of the Jingzhu superhighway).
