Portable Multimedia Player, The Hardware Design

This thesis discusses the hardware design of Portable Media Player based on Aul200 processor. System hardware design starts from general design, followed by schematic design and PCB layout, ends with debugging. The whole design flow includes: functional specification definition, general structure design, component choice, PCB layout and simulation and system debugging.The first chapter gives a general description about the subject of Portable Media Player hardware design.The second chapter discusses functional specification definition and general structure design.The third chapter discusses schematic design including component choice and interfacing to the processor.The fourth chapter discusses PCB layout and simulation, system debugging is also covered in this chapter.The last chapter summarizes the work that has been done and the technical trend of Portable Media Player.
