Network Education is being used widely with the advantages of wide-area application, easy extension and good interactivity. Still there are some deficiency in the diversification of test questions and security of authentication in the current network education system. For this, the author offers some improved scheme by theoretic analysis and proves its feasibility through programming.The target of this subject is to develop an authentication-based Network Education Platform. In allusion to the deficiency of current Network Education Platform, the author presents some improvements and develops four subsystems as follows: the Teacher Remote Answer system, the Fingerprints Identification system, the Test Question Library Management system and the Network Examination system.After studying the trait of XMLHTTP object and the reflection technology of C#, the author develops a middle module XMLCALL which realizes function dynamic call for server and resolves hard refurbishment problem of traditional Web page. Based on this middle module, the Teacher Remote Answer system without refurbishment is then accomplished. In order to combine security with maintenance, the author also studies fingerprints information acquisition and applies it to the platform. In the Test Question Library Management system, the author ayalyzes computer generating test paper scheme and simulates the average difficulty index based on mathematical model for binominal distribution, which offers a more affective scheme for the automatic generation of test paper.Based on the above research accomplishments, the author realizes the whole system frame and tests it. The result indicates that this system improves on security, applicability and maintenance comparing with the current Network Education system.
