| Content:1. Background of researchWith the gradual mature and popularization of Internet/Intranet technology, more and more governments ^ enterprises ^ especially some large cross-region enterprises and multinational corporation actively adopt new technology to carry out broad sensing group working and global working by linking working mechanism and branch mechanism arranged at various places through Internet/Intranet. The application pattern of information system is transforming in the direction of gradual netilization, form of distribution, mobility and highly integrated.But in the system of net documents managements at present, the way to deal with the documents is usually the e-mail in the form of appendix or pure text file. However, it can't achieve the goal that is gowning when seeing conveniently and directly ,especially when dealing with Office files which are widely accepted by users now. Moreover, e-mail is easy to divulge secrets and there will be some delay. At the same time, traditional e-mail system can't track and marking the user's edit process.According to the present conditions and existing problems of net document managing system, to meet the working requirement of modern paperlessness and netilization of our country, combining the advantage and disadvantage of C/S and B/S, this article pose office automization online net document compiling and managing system based on Thin Client/Web Server(C/W). This system realized net-running of documents, documents information netted sharing and exchanging and mobile off icing, and meets the need of government and all ranks of enterprises.2. Technology Route .During designing and developing process, we resolved many technologic problems. The major technologic route is :(l)Developing the whole system as the form of middle-ware system, so as to implant conveniently into other office automization system.(2)Using the user-defined protocol to packet the data object and XMLHTTP transformed protocol, we establish the transformation and data packet analytical mechanisms between client and server, realizing the data's request and reply.(3) Thin client is with the IE > ActiveX and application program to send request data packets to the server, analyzing the returned data packets, and through the way of OLE transferring allocated the client's Microsoft Office, opening the required documents, compiling and marking the user's edit process, and send back the result to server application program.(4)The server with the application program transfer allocated COM of Java Bean component receiving the request from client, analyzing the type of request, dealing with the request and returning the result to client.3. Main Work(1)Implement the operating the document compiling in the way of C/W by using middle-ware technology. The system makes the Microsoft Office to fuse the IE of the client, making the user to operate it more convenient.(2) Implement the largest limited Microsoft Office mixing together, and the user is not necessary to have the more training, then can use this system.(3)Implement this function of compiling document online and saving document in the server through the Internet. For User to open, compiling or save the document in the server is as easily as operating the local document.(4)Implement the online hand-writing signature, electronic seal, marking the user's edit process, edition controlling and show or hide comment etc. These functions are the most important ones in the electronic government affairs and office automatization of net documents management, this middle-ware system can implement these functions very well.(5) Implement the function of software escalating automatization of client application. This middle-ware system can with the edition No's renewing to implement the function to renew the client software by using the ActiveX technology.
