Study On SOA-Based Network Office Platform For Universities

Since the government improved the National Higher Education Development hard, thecollege’ size and business have made leaps and bounds. In2010, students’ total size is up to31,050,000in various form of higher education in the school. The overall capacity, researchcapability and comprehensive competitiveness in Institutions of higher education are improvedalso. The network office platform, which established by each colleges and universities, is playedan active role on the efficiency of internal management and school improvement. The highereducation’ information construction institutions are a long and complex project, a lot of thebusiness systems’ construction in school have been carried out respectively，but one afteranother are put into use. Various systems of different developers, different technical architecture,different data standard, makes the University informationization work into a quagmire at thisstage.More and more business can’t be integrated among the business systems, which cause thesharp decline in the efficiency of university routine office, when the systems are used after a fewyears. So, it must establish a network office platform, where the business are integrated, the dataare shard, the overall are unified, in order to reduce the system resource consumption, improveoffice efficiency and enhance the competitiveness of colleges and universities. In view of theabove universities problems in daily office, it is urgent need to re-analysis of the college networkoffice platform. This paper is based on the current situation of the college informatization and thedaily office, according to Maslow’s hierarchy of need theory, and we research and analyze thedemand to the current network office platform, and propose the construction scheme whichbased on the SOA-building. The internal platform authentication center, data center, personalservice center are established by using existing business systems.
