Network Based On Asp.net Practice / Examination System

With the rapid popularization of computer networks, web-based education as a branch of modern education becomes more and more important. And the design of network education software improves constantly along with software technology improvement, not only in security, extendibility and general purpose but also in practicability and interaction.The design objectives of the NEES( Network Exercise & Exam System) is that the web transactions of exercise & exam are processed correctly and effectively . This paper reviews and analyzes the key technologies of NEES , demands analysis and design outline in NEES. They mainly include modeling method based on UML technology, software requirement analysis and rough design of database.This paper analysises and designs detailedly on NEES. It mainly consists of the guidelines of the database, the application of database principle, the software and hardware environments for the NEES, the analyses of software procedure and the optimum algorithms for intelligent selection of test questions, the design of software procedure for student to answer the test questions and setting a time limit, the design of auto saving function through the examination, the intelligent integration of computer aided evaluation and manual evaluation, the on-line administration, and the application of security strategy.The UML is taking as the modeling language in the ness. The Microsoft Visio, compatible with office, is used to establish three-tier client/server model. Microsoft Access is adopted to design the database. And the middleware, i.e. the assembly of component, is implemented under the Microsoft Vb.net environment.
