The Design And The Implementation Of Web Information Agent

Since 1970s , Internet has past through the stage of infant, growing up and popularization . Now , Internet becomes one of the important methods of conveying information in the world . With the development of Internet and the Growth of information , users have to spend more and more time on finding the needed infomation . In addiction, in order to get the instant messages, such as weather forecast, share price and the exchange quotations , users have to enter the website themself and find the needed information from a massive number of information. So, many researchers attempt to apply the AI(Artificial Intelligence) technology into the process of getting information. Thus, the information agent was born.This paper presents its development under discussion of analysis of the requirements of the users and the system of this kind. The systematic modules and functions are determined. Based on the JSP and Access database technology, the author analyzed the key technology and questions of the design, and discussed the method of the realizing of the infomation agent system, which is a multilayer structure. Finally, we developed the system functions expected, such as users information manage, information searching, scheduling engine, information filter module of the information agent.The author made a brief introduction to an information searching and information dealing system based on B/S, a kind of multilayer structure. Of course it is only rough discussion about this kind of system and we hope it is helpful to related people.
