With the development of computer technology and internet technology, the requirement of educational administration management for automatization, digitization and internetization is getting higher and higher.As Guangdong Youth Leaders College develops, the work of educational administration management is getting tougher and tougher. In order to digitalize and standardize the work of educational administration management, breaking away from the less-efficient manual mode of doing administrative task, we develop a kind of educational administrative management system which is specifically designed to fulfill the need of this College.This comprehensive system aims to provide service for administrative personnel, teaching staff, students and parents. Teachers can complete their daily work through this system; all data related to students from the day they are enrolled to the day they depart can be dealt with by this system. They also can select courses and inquire about other information such as marks, merits, punishments. Teachers can look through curriculum arrangement and register marks; parents can obtain the information of how their kids perform at school.This system covers the administration of educational affairs, teaching, personnel, research, accounting and office work. Information collecting stretches to various departments, so wherever it occurs, it can be put into the system. By doing so, we can solve the difficulties of information collection .lagging of information feedback, information inaccuracy ,and set up an in time, accurate, overall and plenty informationplatform for teaching administration .This system is made up of users' validation module, subsystem of student management, subsystem of elementary educational administration management, system of teaching management and system maintenance module.The design of system combines traditional C/S mode with popular B/S mode, with three layers system structures. The mode of C/S has strong ability of real-time disposal, suitable for disposal of database and update of large quantity of data. The system is relatively blocked out, having excellent secrecy, whose technical development of software is quite perfect and have multiple choices.B/S mode can have non-slot connection with almost all the LAN, with no necessary to install customer ports. Its interface is unified and easy to handle, using the technique of "thin client" . The system uses C/S> B/S modes, sharing the same background database. In this system, C/S mode mainly carries out the function of educational administration operation, whereas B/S mode carries out the function of teachers and students operation.The server uses Windows 2000 Server ,and background database uses SQL Server 2000. B/S mode is based on ASP.NET frame, and exploiting instrument is Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2003. C/S mode uses instrument of DELPHI6.0.At present, this system is being tested by administrative staff of Guangdong Youth Cadres College. It is running well, and gains good feedback.
