Modern manufacturing are developing towards market globalization, manufacture globalization, products diversification and individuation. Traditional management mode, organization structure, design measures and decision-making gist have to go on innovating in order to keep up with the pace of era. Information has been making itself as a sure way to enhance enterprise competition, increase profit and to realize skipping development.This paper mainly discusses the application of computer technology and realization of advanced management theory for college engineering training center. Firstly, this paper discusses the necessity and feasibility of this MIS. Secondly, from the standpoint of software technology, detailed technology is introduced. Thirdly, this paper mainly analyses the specific flows and management theory with warehouse management module. Finally, based on the summarization of difficulties during system development, this paper brings forward some suggestions we need to pay attention to. As the MIS is for practical use, advanced and practical characteristics should both be considered.Main work lists as below:1. Improvement of workflows for warehouseCombined with the mutual relations of other departments, this paper analyzes and optimizes the original workflow of the warehouse, then set up a fine management system.2. Improved EOQ strategyFrom the standpoint of both enterprise and supplier's interest, by considering various kinds of expenses of both sides, the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model is improved to meet the requirement of order cost reduction. In practical application, unit-store-expense of both sides has been transformed flexibly. One case is used to demonstrate the new order strategy. Finally, Spreadsheet method is applied to build model, compute cost and make further discussion about the results.3. Tools & measures managementSort the different kinds of Tools & measures. Lend and return conducts will be reflected to their amounts. Meanwhile, keep the historical records for statistic. It can be sorted by user, date and the specific tools & measures, which can be used for later evaluation.4. Curriculum assignmentAnalyze the practical problem that engineering training center faced with, then establish mathematic model, finally, realize the function of curriculum assignmentby computer programming.5. Deal with key technologiesMainly about database connection, long distance data share, security problem, data verification, abnormity disposal etc.
