Research On Heterogeneous-Database And Universal Integrative Environment For Architecture Simulation

With the appearance of DIS and HLA, computer simulation grows from single simulation systems to synthetical and network distributed simulational environment. Almost all simulation systems bring heterogeneity in computer hardware and inter- face,DBMS,network OS,development tools etc,makes the difficulties in resource sharing of all interactive simulation systems. In view of the simulation application in military affairs, heterogeneity of DBMS, integration of Heterogeneous-Database and its key technologies are studied on fisrtly. Secondly,Heterogeneous-Database Systems Universal Integrative Environment with three tiered client/server architecture in distributed computer model are built up,in which operation logic models are distributed in middle-tier application server. At last, a kind of federated database model based on component technology is presented to integrate information and data among distributed Heterogeneous-Databases,and the system function modules components are encapsulated so that they can be reused conveniently. In case of FCS-CIMS, Heterogeneous-Database's Universal Integrative Environment for simulation systems is improved, in which users can log in and log out the integrated environment dynamically, maintain all member databases,access and operate different Heterogeneous-Databases transparently. Meanwhile, federated integration models and attributation mapping can be created and modified dynamically,and different integrative information can be checked at the same time in the environment.
