| The thesis bases on the work on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, oTogether.The thesis expatiats on the functions a PLM system should have and the effect should be taken after an enterprise applies it. It also discusses how to apply object-oriented software development technologies to the development of a PLM system.I have finished several things in the past more than one year as following:1. Studying object-oriented analyze and design, universal modeling language and design patterns and so on. After that, I applied them to oTogether successfully.2. Discussing the history of PLM, what functions a PLM should have and its meaning for an enterprise.3. Taking charge of the plantation of service layer and its design.4. Designing and implementing the following modules of the service layer, part management, BOM management, change flow management, document management, supplier management, attachment management, business object system and persistence service. |
