Research And Application Of Analytical Methods Based On The P-the Rsi

Recently, Web is an information technology that has being in most wide use and is promising attribute to its availability and practicality. Formerly, Web was a technology only supporting static HTML page, but now it is a tool top resent global information resource, carry out cooperation and business activities.Then the techniques that develop the Web applications are rapidly evolving. So, the research on developing Web applications and Web quality assurance is necessary and very pressing!In this article, we discuss the main content and usual orders of Web Engineering (WebE). We also discuss a method called RSI, which is one of system analytic methods in WebE, and discuss this method's advantage and shortcoming. We propose a developed RSI method called P-RSI which come from our actual experience. This method is a method whose theoretical foundation comes from RSI and its analytic beginning is the working process analysis. Although P-RSI and RSI have much in common, I still think that they are two different methods because P-RSI's beginning is the working processes analysis but RSI is not. The method P-RSI can be separated as six steps to go. Actually, P-RSI is not my invention. Now, in actual working, many excellent System-Analysts have been using a similar method to analyze the Web applications. My working in this article just abstracts their working experience with words and translates every step in their method with WebE theory or Software Engineering theory. After that, I do prove that their analytic methods come from their experience is a rational and scientific method!To prove the possibility of realizing a Telecom Resource Managing System based on B/S architecture and deepen the research about the method P-RSI, at the end of article, we analyze an actual project which is called 'Telecom Resource Managing System based on B/S architecture' under the help of the method P-RSI. After the analysis, we try to use J2EE to realize this system's prototype. In the process of analyzing and developing this prototype, the article mainly shows all the different analytic productions produced in every step of P-RSI. These productions can be concluded as: (1) the sequence diagrams come from the working process descriptions and drawn by UML; (2) the request Use-case spread tables come from the sequence diagrams; (3) the collaboration diagrams come from the request Use-case spread tables and all drawn by UML; (4) the summary of Interface-Use-Case and Service-Use-Case and Entity-Use-Case come from thecollaboration diagrams; (5) the System-Analyzing-Report combined by these analytic productions. Besides, we have conquered many technical difficulties in the process of realizing the prototype, such as, how to get telecom graphics from Oracle Spatial, how to realize working message model, how to combine the two systems with different structures, how to define a telecom resource model, and so on. I think that this article is a good attempt of using the methods of WebE to guide our actual developing actions.
