Information Applications are the innovative products combined with traditional household appliances and compunication technology. As mankind entered the information epoch, Information Appliances is the necessity development of the traditional household appliances. But'now there are many protocols for the Information Applications and the protocols are repulsed with each other. The situation embarrassed the development of Information Applications. In the article, the author provides a new-style network intelligence platform to solve the problem.Information Application Network Platform use uClinux as the software basement. The platform realizes the support for the protocols by modifying uClinux and adding new support lib to the uClinux.Information Application Network Platform uses ARM as the kernel of the hardware design. ARM (Advanced RISC Machine) is a mainstream CPU architecture in the embedded system development.DALI (Digitally Addressable Lighting Interface) is a protocol that is wholly designed for intelligence lighting control. In the article, the author uses it as an example to explain how to translate the platform' s protocol to DALI and vice versa.Because the platform needs to save information when the system is running, the platform uses the JFFS2 as the root file systems. At the end of the article the author transplanted the JFFS2 to uClinux as its root file systems.
