Based On Owl-s Web Service Discovery

Web Services Discovery allows for the customer to find desired service from different types of web services to access it. The purpose of Web Services Discovery research is to increase search efficiency (such as recall and precision and realize automatic discovery.Semantic description and logic reasoning is a proper approach to achieve it.Ontologies based on OWL-S (Ontology Web Language for Services) provide a semantic markup for Web Services to be understood by intelligent agent. OWL-S supports semantic reasoning, which makes automatic discovery possible.In this work, we establish advertisement profile and request profile ontologies on the OWL-S Ver1.1 criterion. Furthermore, we design the discributed web services system, which based on semantic web. The OWL-S matching algorithm has modified The DAML-S matching alogorithm. It uses description logic to perform reasoning. It realizes complexity matching between advertisement profile and request prodile. It increases search efficiency.
