Since the envision of Semantic Web was proposed by Mr. Tim Berners-Lee in 2000, who has put forward the concept of WWW, the Semantic Web and the Web Services have become two important trends of the development of WWW. The combination of these two techniques generates a new research direction: the Semantic Web Services. The Semantic Web Services, which describes the semantics of the web services through using the semantic remark language, makes the web services become the computer-comprehensible entity and further supports the automatic discovery and composition of web services. The services composition is a very important part during the service discovery, which can satisfy the user's requirements by reusing the existing resources. The services composition model is determined by the matching degree between the services. The significance of this research is that the software agents can dynamically and flexibly satisfy the users' requirements through automatic discovery, execution and composition of the registered Semantic Web services according to the matching degree between the services. This dissertation mainly focuses on the relative techniques of Semantic Web Services discovery including the Web Services techniques, the semanticizing theory of Web Services, the services description language such...
