Power line carrier communication has more and more attention because of its low cost, no new wiring and so on. It has made a generous contribution to the development of Chinese power line communication, now power line carrier communication is mainly used in the automatic meter industry. With more and more development and maturity of the power line carrier communication technology, people begin to consider the effects of power line carrier in other industries. The design of ECG remote monitoring system based on power liner carrier chip SSCP300uses power line carrier communication technology and ECG signal acquisition.Firstly, the introduction part of the article simply shows the current situation and development of the long-distance ECG monitoring, and the merit of the low pressure power line. It manifests the significance of the topic.Secondly, it illustrates two key technologies in the second chapter which the subject involves as power line carrier communication technology and ECG data acquisition technology. The chapter analyses the technical difficulties such as interference and attenuation properties on the power line. It makes the understanding of the advantages and difficulties of power line carrier, which importantly accounts for the spread spectrum communication technology; it learns ECG data collecting technology in order to obtain the idea of ECG data collection.Then, this thesis makes the system integral structure’s analysis and design in the third chapter, and the structure chart of the whole system. Power line carrier transmission system is simply divided into ECG collection end and receiving end. The each module is divided into several small function modules, whose function and role are illustrated and described. It finally gives the designing direction of the hardware system.The fourth chapter and fifth chapter are the important parts of the article, which complete the hardware and software design of the system. According to the system framework last chapter, MSP430F449is selected as the main control chip, and SSCP300is selected for PLC chip to complete the whole system. Firstly all the chips which are selected make detailed description, and the specific circuit diagram is designed according to the functional modules of the system. Then the idea of the software design is made according to the system diagram and schematic diagram of the hardware, which is divided into several functional modules consisting of the data processing of MCU, sending and receiving programs of power line carrier, and the display program of the terminal management center.Finally, this article summarizes the research work being done, and the direction of future work prospects.
