The skywave Over-the-Horizon Radar (OTHR) operates in high frequency band (3-30MHz) and employs the ionosphere to reflect signal to detect targets from the top down. OTHR's operating mode brings some great challenges to the application in engineering. We develop a simulation system for OTHR to assist the engineering research in theory.Firstly, we simulate the signal received by OTHR in each antenna according to the real working condition, and save the signal datum in file. Secondly, we develop the signal processing program and the visual user's interface. Thirdly, we utilize the simulation system to analyze Linear Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (LFMCW) OTHR system and Binary Phase-coded Continuous Wave (BPCCW) OTHR system. Finally we compare the performance in suppression of interference of these two kinds of OTHR system. We achieve two aims in this simulation system. One aim is that we can ultimately use the signal processing program contained in simulation system to process the signal datum received by OTHR, get the targets' information and plot the flight path of targets. The other one is the application research of Binary Phase-coded Continuous Wave (BPCCW) in OTHR, and it's advantage compared with Linear Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (LFMCW).
