School Resources Based On Web Services Interoperability Model

The sustainable development of IT technology is advancing the process ofeducation informationization constantly. More and more schools have already setup their own campus network and have developed their own teaching and managementapplications with this. Meanwhile, educational administrative departments of alllevels have set up their own management information system of education too. Itis convenient to gather and manage the education information of all levels. Thisundoubtedly plays an important role to raise efficiency of educational management.However, with constant increase of need for data share and information exchangebetween each different system , more and more problems are exposed gradually.These contradictions have already been more and more outstanding with thequickening of the process of education informationization. if we can't make andperfect criterions in educational information management immediately , which willhinder informationalized order and efficiency seriously , lead to waste enormouspersonnel and fund, even influence the decision of educational development. So,a whole set of perfect criterions in education information management must be madeas the norm that personnel of this trade observe commonly. So long as all softwaremanufacturers finish their own systems according to such a norm, theinteroperability between softwares can be guaranteed.The research of criterions in educational information management for ourcountry should be base on two sides. On one hand, it should be based on domesticresearch results; on the other hand,it should use the study experience in the worldfor reference , among which the most representative research result are SIF(SchoolInteroperability Framework).This text studies criterions in education information management which isbased on above sides. This text emphasizes particularly the norm of exchange ofschool resources on network (school resources Interoperability). The researchcontents and innovations of this thesis are as follows:1) The thesis analyses XML's characteristics and XML's advantages in resourcemanagement.2) The thesis discusses the concept, characteristics, infrastructure andrelevant standards of WebServices technology.3) The thesis analyses infrastructure, operation principle, function modeland work groups of SIF.
