Virtual Instrument Technology In Dam Safety Monitoring Study

AS a specific system, Dam Safety Monitoring System either has its own characteristics or have the requirment of Data Management and Communication for many Test and Control system.In the background of Dam Safety Monitoring , the thesis discusses how to make use of Virtual Instruments in the desige of Test and Control system. We accomplish Dam Monitoring Data Management and report generation by LabVIEW. In order to measure and distinguish the signal of Vibrating Wire Sensor, we desing a virtual Instruments by NI-DAQ system. Meanwhile, we desing a device on the base of MCU and circuits to complete the same work. At last, in order to satisfy the requirement of Dam Safety Monitoring system, the thesis discusses how to make use of LabVIEW to achieve communication in Monitoring Systems, such as OPC and Web browse.
