Security Monitoring System, Integrated Software Design

Safeguard system is one of the most important means in modern enterprise management. During the operation, safeguard monitoring system plays more and more significant role.This thesis focuses on the design of the integrated multimedia monitoring system software based on the third generation criterion of the safeguard system. The main task contains:(1) Modules are integrated: Distributed sub-systems, including alarm system, interphone system, electric network system, database system, are integrated and managed uniformly, so that interactive information among subsystems are fused and system ability in coping with emergency can be improved as well.(2) Sub-systems are inter-connected by network: By studying and comparing several scenarios in network visual signal processing, we pick up the Divx scenario to encode and decode digitalized visual signals which, then, can be multicasted and transmitted among components in Intranet.(3) Intelligent detection: Moving object can be detected and targeted dynamically by employing the image sequences processing technology.Now this system has been successfully applied in the daily internal management and operation of Nanjing Detention House.
