In recent years,with the continuous increase of social demand and the continuous improvement of monitoring technology,monitoring products have gradually begun to appear in people's lives and have been widely used.However,the traditional monitoring system is mainly based on the wired network,which has a large amount of installation and wiring work,poor mobility and high maintenance cost,and is mainly used in transportation,government,financial departments and other important places.With the continuous development of Internet technology and embedded technology,video monitoring system is developing towards the embedded direction of wireless,miniaturization,low cost,easy installation and high reliability,and it is also gradually popularized and applied in the field of civil consumption.Therefore,it makes sense to design an economical monitoring system for individuals or families.In this paper,an embedded wireless video monitoring system is designed and implemented according to the future development trend and application prospect of the monitoring system,combined with network technology and embedded technology.The system adopts the software and hardware development platform with S3C2440 microprocessor and embedded Linux operating system as the core,adopts USB camera as the video image data acquisition equipment,and wireless network card as the transmission equipment of video image data to constitute a complete wireless video monitoring system.Firstly,the overall operating environment of the monitoring system is built on the basis of the hardware platform,including the installation of cross-compilation tool chain,u-boot transplantation and the tailoring and transplantation of the Linux kernel.The root file system suitable for this system is designed and made,and the relevant configuration of the selected device is added in the kernel.Secondly,in terms of software design,the video server of mjpg-streamer is transplanted to realize the collection and transmission of video image data.The collection of video image data is realized by the V4L2 interface function provided by the Linux kernel for users,while the transmission of video image data is realized by socket technology under the TCP/IP protocol.Video image data receiving terminal through PC browser and mobile browser and a simple mobile phone APP based on Android design to achieve.The system also adds the function of moving target detection,using OpenCV function library to improve the optimization of inter-frame difference method and combined with background difference method for moving target detection.When a moving target appears in the monitoring area,the system will trigger the alarm mechanism and send a reminder email to the user.After the completion of the system design,through the continuous testing of each module and the overall function,the monitoring system can run stably.When someone enters the monitoring area,the system can automatically send a reminder email,and the result has reached the expected goal.The system has low cost and high reliability,which is in line with the future development trend.
