Inquiry-based learning emphasizes the actual application to the knowledge and skill , pay attention to the course and students' practice and experience of study , make students to explore voluntarily in the open study environment and to solve the practical problem. At present. Inquiry-based learning has already ranked the course that middle and primary schools reform by Ministry of Education , it will make middle and primary schools to develop inquiry-based learning, but inquiry-based learning is very shortage at the vocational schools. This subject will apply inquiry-based learning at vocation school students' electronic information technology scientific and technological invention activity, explore the guidance function at studying professional knowledge , training practice ability and creativity.This subject adopts the qualitative research approach, including case study and action research. Running through two lines all the time in the implementing stage of studying, one is using the theory of inquiry-based learning to guide students' electronic information technology scientific and technological invention activity, the another is through interview, observe to obtain Y case materials in the scientific and technological invention activity, these two lines interweave together, the purpose is to explore inquiry-based learning's guidance function on grasping professional knowledge, training practice ability and creativity.During the process of studying, according to students' actual condition to grasping the professional knowledge and the need of scientific and technological invention activity, I resolve the professional knowledge and ability, form the professional knowledge and ability analytical table, for students to study and consult in the scientific and technological invention activity.In the course of research of two terms, I have got the abundant firsthand materials, settling and analyzing the materials that draw the following conclusions:(1) Inquiry-based learning makes for student to study and extend professional knowledge that applies at the electronic information technology scientific and technological invention.(2) Inquiry-based learning applies at the electronic information technology scientific and technological invention, makes for students' to train practice ability and creativity.(3) Should popularize inquiry-based learning in the vocational school.According to the characteristic of vocational education, vocational school students' actual conditions, it is not only essential, but also feasible to push inquiry-based learning in the vocational school, but practical exploration has just begun, a lot of problems await us and to study deeply in the future.
