In information society, many organizations accumulate vast data. To organizeand analyze data becomingly, data warehouse and data mart are proposed, which aresubject-oriented. Data warehouse is oriented the whole organization, however, datamart is oriented one department. And data mining is proposed to discover the ruleshidden in the data. At last the subject-oriented data and discovered rules are showedby OLAP technique. Afterwards, the concept of business intelligence involves theconcepts mentioned above, which is a main tool to organize and analyze data.To realize the multidimensional analysis and give support to decision-making,this paper study and realize data warehouse framework and OLAP system of theShanghai Revenue Business Intelligence System. The main parts are as follows:1. The design of DW framework. At first, "taxation model"is proposed, then we build DB-ODS-DW-DM four levels DW framework and build the data cube after plotting the revenue subjects.2. The function and configuration of OLAP server. After analyze the type of users, we configure B/S and C/S two structures and use HOLAP to store the data cube.3. The front utility of OLAP. After interviewing the "Tree Multidimensional Data Model", the paper designs and implements multidimensional grid and chart, which can roll up, drill down, pivot etc.In this system, data warehouse framework can organize and store the revenuedata steadily and congruously by subjects; and OLAP server can structure data cubefor the user; the user can analysis the data cube with multidimensional grid and chart.So, the process that is from subject-oriented data congregate to multidimensionaldata analysis is finished.
