Windows Pppoe Dial-up Software Implementation

PPPoE (Point to Point Protocol over Ethernet) is the most popular way to accessHigh speed data networks, which relies on two widely accepted standards: PPP and Ethernet. PPPoE requires no major changes in the operational model for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and carriers. The PPPoE implementation requires virtually no more knowledge on the part of the end user other than that required for standard Dial up Internet access.Firstly, the paper discusses general contents of the PPPoE protocol, and then interprets the way to implement a windows intermediate driver, after that describes in detail an implementation of a PPPoE client. As an outcomming of this project, a PPPoE dialer software for windows is developed.
