With the development of the technique of computer, micro-electronics, sensor, communication and network etc. Technique of measurement and instrumentation have got great chance and infinite develop space . There are many excellent networked instruments which combine with new technology. It is networked instruments that have become the new technical trend. There are many typical applications such as remote data acquisition and controll,transferring instruments resource ,diagnosing fault and so on. In this paper , the long-distance multimedia teaching mornitor system based on Ethernet will be analyzed, the distributed data sampling which base on CFP of NI company will be discussed. The first chapter summarize the network, networked measurement and networked instruments. There are some typical applications and describe the main study work and production in this chapter. In the second chapter, there will be a picture about the design and realization of the long-distance multimedia teaching mornitor system. And then the function , construction and principle will be explained in detail . In the third chapter, the program of network interface base on 51 single chip microcontroller, TCP/IP protocol's function and how to embed them will be introduced. The same time, the designing and debug methods of embedding ARP, ICMP, UDP, TCP protocols will be displayed. The design and work flow of single chip microcontroller monitor software will be introduced. In the forth chapter, SCOKET network programming will be simply introduced, work flow chat about the system of the design and realization PC monitor software will be gived. This chapter amply explains the program design of seven function modules, gives all result, and writes out some problems founded and how to resolve. The fifth chapter introduces the distributed data sampling which base on CFP(Compact FieldPoint). The data sampling system will be designed, and then its performance will be estimated.
