In the coking industry, some data, such as the pushing time, the flatting time and the pushing current and so on, are very important for they can reflect the practical operation and status of coke oven. Furthermore, these data are of great significance to the control of the charred coal's quality. Therefore, it is one of the evaluation factors of the coke oven's grade whether these data are collected , recorded and saved or not in the course of pushing so that the pushing process is monitored effectively.Against the deficiencies and defects of data acquisition , data communication and batch number identification existing in the present process of pushing, in this paper profound researches are made from the view of cost reduction and increase of reliability , real-time performance and identification accuracy, and accordingly a kind of device monitoring pushing process based on embedded system has been designed.Technology of embedded system is applied successfully in the monitoring of pushing process; In the basis of discussing comprehensively the theory of anti-interference of embedded system and analyzing the possible interference source in the field condition, a series of effective measures are taken in order to guarantee that this system can run stably and steadily. The two points listed above are the innovation of this system. In addition, the technology of photo-electricity is applied to realize the batch number identification, and wireless communication is taken between the PC and the monitoring device.The Atmegal28 chip - a kind of the series of AVR single chip microcomputer is selected as MCU(Microcontroller Unit) of this system. The chip has some good qualities such as abound resources , fast response , good performance of anti -interference , running stably and so on. The features , instruction system and IDE(Integrated Development Environment) of the chip are also introduced simply in this paper.This paper describes the design process of the system completely. Firstly, overall plan is put forward according to the actual demand. Secondly, the design courses of hardware and software of this system are explained at length. Finally, the problems encountered in the process of debugging and the corresponding solutions are described simply.After the running status of system in the field and collected data are observed and analyzed thoroughly, it is clearly indicated that the system is running reliably and has good real-time performance so that it can monitor the entire process of pushing effectively.
