It is well-known to people that the NGN bearer network is IP network. The NGN bearer network is able to provide the public with telecom level multimedia services, for example voice, video services and IPTV. But IP network provides Best-Effort service, which is hard to meet the requirement of telecom level QoS. IP network cannot be directly applied as NGN bearer network . The end-to-end QoS guarantee of IP network has been handicap of in the way of NGN development. Researchers formerly focus on the data plane of QoS and concentrate on the specific implement in router. They rarely research the control plane and management plane. There are only two basic QoS guarantee model: IntServ and DiffServ. Nowadays,Network providers mostly use DiffServ model, but DiffServ model indeed cannot achieve QoS, which may bring problems to network providers. IF use IntServ model, that may made big burden on core routers. The QoS scheme which combines the thinking of IntServ and DiffServ may be perfect, because that QoS scheme not only has the dynamic signaling which can make it flexible but also has the simple classification of services, especially because it uses bandwidth broker technology and constraint-based routing technology. Considering the above problems, we provide three end-to-end QoS guarantee schemes: ( 1 ) IP QoS scheme based on central bandwidth broker;(2) distributed QoS scheme based on MPLS network domain;(3)central QoS scheme based on MPLS network domain. we also discuss their advantages and disadvantages. Finally, we use OPNET simulation tool to simulate the first QoS scheme and...
