Coordinated Multiple Point Transmission and Reception is one of the key technologies to realize LTE-Advanced system performance demand.It can transmit data or receive data for terminals among multiple cells jointly.It can improve the cell-edge performance,increase system throughput and extend high speed coverage.In LTE-Advanced system,introducing CoMP technology increases new communication subprocess and influences the network topology structure of traditional cellular communication system. The information interaction and signaling transmission between cells and UEs will be more complex.Admission control mechanism as one important part of wireless resource management can effectively regulate user numbers guarantee quality of service and increase system throughput.Random access is the first stage of communicating between network and terminals.Its performance influences the system performance seriously.The changes that CoMP technology brings refers to signaling design,radio interface,random access process and radio resource management,etc.In this paper, signaling transmission technology,admission control technology, random access technology to support CoMP are discussed. It designs high-level signaling to support CoMP activation and CoMP deactivation,puts forward a admission control strategy and a multiple random access process,which can guarantee quality of service. Proposed admission control algorithm takes different admission mechanism according to user characteristics.And admission threshold can adjust dynamically to guarantee QoS. Proposed random access algorithm can reduce access delay and increase access success rate through multiple access for the cell-edge user. And the backoff algorithm can guarantee the high priority access to meet the QoS requirements. The performance of two algorithm proposed in this pape were verified.
