| The paper researches on the design of data warehouse, propose a new way of modeling data warehouse: domain knowledge guides the design of data warehouse. The paper considered there is misunderstanding in concepts in domain, one concept has several meaning and one meaning has several concept. The paper described the domain knowledge in formalized way, and modeling the data warehouse based on it. Design dimensions and measurement based on domain ontology improved the consistency and expansibility , and it is easy to integration with other ontology by the way based on domain terms .On the aspect of domain ontology, we accomplished a domain ontology of insurance claim. It used OWL commented by W3C as express language, it described the knowledge of car insurance claim. The paper finished the PICC prototype system of Stat. and Analysis.Especially, on the aspect of dimension design, the paper proposed a way based domain ontology, and proposed the design principle.Based on the research, the paper selected Microsoft SQL Server as database server, design and developed the PICC prototype system of Stat. and Analysis. The way proposed by the paper is evaluated and accomplished good effect. The system included ETL, data warehouse and OLAP display facing customer. At present the system has finished mostly. |
