Application Of Data Warehouse To Property Insurance Fields

China's insurance is a competitive and high risk industry. With the strengthen regulatory in recent years and the rational cognition of insurance corporations on their own operations, insurance companies,however, have gradually shift to relying on supported by the data and long-term business policy to gain more benefits from long-term medium and long term business activities, not to using violative working to gain short-term interests. So, a stable and efficient decision support system is very essential for insurance industry. Centralized data processing, data warehousing, online analytical processing (OLAP) and the generation and development of data mining technology have provided effective theory guidance and direction method, which were applied in recent years and has gained some excellent results.This article, firstly, introduces data warehouse technology and data analysis technology, and expounds the technology of forming data warehouse from the point of engineering, including the data warehouse architectural design, data source and data warehouse modeling technology and projection implementation methods etc. Secondly, it uses the plan of business executive information system to further analyze the actual state and questions of companies, to bring up the thread and solution again system design, to sum up the questions and solutions during the data handling process, and to be implemented to practice. Hence, it brings forward business data analysis system of China United Property Insurance Co., Ltd. Hebei Branch on the basis of data warehouse, and analyzes a period business situation of company by using a particular analysis index.
