Tooling Design And Management System Based On 3d Cad Computer-aided Research And Development

The process tool's position has been more and more important in the digitization design and the digitization manufacturing. With the needs in the factory of war industry, the article have done the research of the parameterization design, knowledge based design and case based design in the design of the process tool, and complete these work in 3D-CAD.And the article have done the management with PDM.The article analyzed the content and the point of the design of the process tool, and declared the new idea that the design with standard library and diagnostic parameter used the parameterization design, the design with more knowledge used knowledge based design, the design with more similarity framework and standard framework used case based design.The article builds the standard library by way of classifying to the process tool's standard product and do the tool design of parameterization with according to the characteristic parameter.The article do the research of expression, classifying, achieve the knowledge of design of process tool and do knowledge based design in fixture according to more knowledge of fixture design.The article does the research of expression, coding, searching and memory the case of process tool and do case based design in die according to more similarity framework and standard framework.All the above research, the article does a computer-aided system of the process tool with 3D-CAD software UG V1 8.0, and does the management with PDM.
