With the industry speed-incerasing, high-precise fault diagnosis for equipment bearing is becoming more and more important. Therefore, new characteristics, such as high-performance, low-cost, small size and low power consumption, of fault diagnosis instrument for bearing are put forward. So, embedded technology is employed in the field of fault diagnosis of equipment bearings in this thesis. According to the real requirements of fault diagnosis of equipment bearing, the study and the design of embedded fault diagnosis system ofequipment bearing based on S3C2410 embedded Processor and Linux/Embedded OS are fmished.The main work of this Thesis shows in the following.1) Design and realization of the hardware platformWith the core of S3C2410 embedded processor, a memory module is added. Meanwhile, some communication interfaces are extended, such as UART, Internet. LCD/Touch screen is to achieve the needs of human-computer interaction. UART is to assist the debug. Internet is to help share network source.2) Design and realization of the software platformThe work includes the programme of boot loader, the tailor and modification of Linux/Embedded OS, the programme driver of main hardware.The drivers work as the bridge between the Linux Operating System(OS) kernel and hardware.3) This thesis briefly introduces the principles of color LCD and SD card. and particularly introduces the driver implementation of color LCD and SD card which are the representatives of char and block device driver in Linux operating system.
