In the new era, great changes in politics economy culture and social environment are reflected through media in China. The improvement of the Chinese market economy system gives impetus to the industrialization of Chinese media market. Chinese media is attaching more importance to "industrial attribute" and on the way to industrialization and collectivization. Competition of the media market is becoming more intense. Globalization becomes an obvious character of Chinese media. All the above shows clearly that: sharp changes in the field of media are taking place and a pattern of new media is coming into being.As one of "the three mass conventional media", Broadcasting is experiencing vicissitudes in media market. Chinese broadcasting is regarded as " an uncompetitive media" by many people and is challenged by the other medias, For example, INTERNET expands in china steadily, "sub-media" also takes part in the competition.Is it true that Chinese broadcasting is uncompetitive? Where is the direction for Chinese broadcasting's development? how to cope with the new pattern of media? These are all realities that Chinese broadcasting must face. But Chinese broadcasting hasn't logged behind, it stops steps to eclipse and resuscitates on the threshold of the century, National Bureau of Broadcasting and Television entitles 2003 as "The year for broadcasting development".This paper will analyze the current situation of Chinese broadcasting business as to make clear the competitive power of Chinese broadcasting, and retrospect Chinese broadcasting , consulting the experiences of foreign countries. The author will discuss the subject of "The developing strategy of Chinese broadcasting business in the new pattern of media" from the aspects of concepts mechanism supervision and technology.
