Navigation and positioning technology is an important branch of modern science. It has been widely used in aeronautics. astronautics and sailing. And with the rapid development of science, heading measuring system is becoming more and more pint-sized and intelligent. The 3-D attitude measuring system of object presented in this paper is developed in such background. It consists of magnetoresistive sensor. accelerometer and MCU, and can provide heading . pitch and roll of the object.This paper focuses on the development of a sensor system measuring attitude of an object. The theory of solid-state magnetic sensor and design of software and hardware are represented. Meanwhile in order to improve accuracy of the system, several error compensation methods are listed.
