The computer industry has experienced the era of hardware, the era of software, and now in the era of network. With the rapid development of Internet and construction of the next generation of network, a new phase of the Internet is just around the corner. At that time, Internet is not only the tool for communication, but also the reservar of information and the center of computation. The embedded devices will come up to 70% on the next generation of network; dominate the Internet, said by some computer experts. Of course, the popularization of embedded devices relies on their low prices, so it is very likely the hardware configuration of embedded are comparatively low. As a result, how to implementation TCP on embedded devices, to predigest and strengthen its security and robustness is of great importance. This paper provides the part of receiving and handling TCP segment of TCP implementation on iRMX, a real time operating system. While keeping compatible with RFC 0793, the TCP standard constituted by IETF, the paper emphasizes on predigesting of TCP state machine, analyses current attacks on TCP, and proposes a new attack on TCP as well as its remedy. Then, the paper analysed some security protocols, points out their flaws, and provides possible attacks. Finally, a security protocol is provided according to Lowe's cryptographic protocol to solve the security problems proposed in above paragraphs together with proof using SVO logic.
