Research on embeded system of the intelligent sewing equipment is the key that promotes our country's international competitive capability in the field of sewing equipment. The thesis based on a National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC) project named by "Embedded Software System for Seriate Intelligent Sewing Equipment" and a Xi'an important industrialization project named "Independently Design of Multidimensional, Precise and Coordinative Control System for Special Intelligent Sewing Equipment" in the year of 2005, close to the actual application, research on constitution, characteristics, algorithm of motion control, software design about the embeded system of the intelligent sewing equipment etc.Firstly, the thesis dissertates the constitutions and the characteristics of the embeded system, analyzing the function of every constitution in detail. And then the thesis elaborates the overall design of the intelligent electro-pattern-sewing equipment and intelligent tying equipment.Secondly, questions related to motion control in intelligent sewing equipment usually influencing the equipment on its work efficienty and stability, is the key problem in the system development. The thesis dissertates the question about multidimensional coordinative control during the procedure for sewing pattern and the question about the orientation for single axes's zero position, giving the viable solution for every question afterward.Application software design for the intelligent sewing equipment's embeded system is the primary parts in development of the system. The thesis discusses the software design approaches about finite state machine and DARTS, analyzing characteristics of the embeded system as well as, and synthetically applies two kinds of design approaches during the software development of the master control system in intelligent electro-pattern-sewing equipment and intelligent tying equipment.Currently, the research in the thesis already applied to the intelligent electro-pattern-sewing equipment and intelligent tying equipment. Two kinds of intelligent sewing equipment have passed the test.
