With the development of uncooled focal plane array ( UFPA ), the application of infrared technology is increasing .the main disadvantage of UFPA is non-uniformity. Despite non-uniformity of UFPA has improve primely, non-uniformity still restricts the performance of uncooled infrared system. The key of UFPA is correcting non-uniformity in real-time and practically . In order to obtain the better quality of video, the signal that comes from the output of the detector must to be dealt with. The title of this paper is the study object is 320X240 LWIR uncooled microbolometer detector. The main study is boosting up the infrared signal and correcting non-uniformity, it is a part of the research project named the study of the system for the 320 X240 uncooled infrared detector, which is cooperated with WuXi HuGuang photoelectric company. The paper details the application, status and development of UFPA detector. From the view of systematic design, the paper narrates the systematic design about hardware and software in details, applies the algorithm of two-point correction and histogram uniform that base on the platform of DSP and FPGA. At the last, the paper gives the result of some part.
