The FPGA-based hardware implementation of DVB-T channel out-coding and decoding have been completed in this project. The main hardware-platform is based on the altera's Statix series FPGA (EP1S2F780) chips.The processing of TS(Transform Stream),Scamber/Descamber,channel codec(Reed-Solomon coding and decoding,Convolution coding and the decoding of Viterbi) ,Convolution interleave,Interplation FIR, constellation mapping , IFFT/FFT ,etc have been implemented based on FPGA, digital to analog transform and upconvert was implemented by AD9857 . In this paper,firstly,the principal of COFDM and DVB-T system is introduced, then the technique of FPGA design is stated . After that , the FPGA-based implementation of channel out-coding and Interplation FIR is introduced in detail in the chapter of four . In the fifth chapter , the FPGA-based implementation of channel out-decoding is introduced.The result is stated in the sixth chapter. What I have done in the project are listed below :A): Read papers associated with the project and get familiar with basic principal of the system.B): Make clear the frame of the system with others in the project and make the interface criterion .C): Implement the channel out-coding based on FPGA .D): Implement the Interplation FIR based on FPGA .E): Implement the channel out-decoding based on FPGA . The simulation and debugging prove that the hardware platform meet the design requirement , even exceeding a little .
