This paper mainly introduce an implementation of the hardware platformfor the channel coding&modulator of Digital TV Broadcasting-Terrestrialtransmitter. This system is based on the Altera Co., Ltd's FPGA(EP1S25780c7)chip, and a quadrature digital upconverter chips AD9857 of AD Co.,Ltd ,together composing the main hardware platform . The software running onthe FPGA would carry out the core of coding and modulation and AD9857 wouldcarry out the tasks of quadrature digital upconverter and digital to analogtransform .This system can be used as a hardware platform for testing, verification andrunning of the channel coding &modulation system designed by different DigitalTV-Terrestrial standard. Because the main purpose of this project is toimplement the DVB-T transmitter ,so this paper will introduce how to implementthe DVB-T transmitter in detail.In this paper , the principal of COFDM and DVB-T system is introducedfirstly , then the EP1S25780C7 and the AD9857 is stated . After that , theFPGA-based main hardware-platform is introduced in detail in the chapter offour . In the fifth chapter , the procedure of debugging the hardware is statedwith the result.The simulation and debugging prove that the hardware platform meet thedesign requirement and the DVB-T transmitter has been implemented with avery fluent video and audio.
