As a new type of electronic equipment in defending theft, electronic article surveillances are extensively applied in supper market. Because of the merits of simple principle, lower cost etc., radio frequency style EAS systems are welcomed by most people. Through the several decades' development of digital signal process technology, it has been applied in many fields successfully. The system using the digital signal processor has become a trend in designing such kind of device.Beginning with the descriptions of the main configuration and the principles of the electronic article surveilance system, the hardware design and the software design are demonstrated.Grounded on actual work, data processing module is constructed with TMS320LF4207 chip core. Because of the system hardware ,the fuction of system is raised, the price of system cut down, the speed of system increased, the cost of system reduced. Based on these hardware, using combined self-correlation function and the lable dynamic character method, the lable identify arithmetic is designed according to the lable character.The article proposes the developing direction of the electronic article surveilance system. Systym on programmed chip is designed to develop the electronic article surveilance system.This paper puts forward designing metheds, designing means and designing step.The hardware and the IP CORE are advanced by the electronic article surveilance system.A great deal of experiments have been done after the design of the electronic article surveilance system. Each possible targets tracking experiment has been done in the field, which is a full trial to the system. Lots of test results show that the system has reached design requirement and it has preferable practicability.
