Proceed the long range supervises and control of robot through Internet is an important direction in robot control research realm. Planning to carry through this directional research, at the same time for the sake of increasing the robot equipment's utilization to let the students do some robots' control experiments via net, the robot laboratory of Central south university established a project for manufacturing two sets of experimenting robot with a system of remotely supervising and controlling. Using this system for robot control experiments and as a groundwork for researching intelligence control method and advanced control algorithms.This thesis is a completely theories and methods research aim at proceeding long range robot supervise and control at the Internet environment. Firstly, in contrasting traditional remotely supervise and control technique, the thesis put forward to develop JSP/ JavaBean Web system with the CORBA technique, resolving the traditional long range control construction's problems of expanding and general use...etc., implement using the technique of Web and CORBA in industry control field. Secondly, this thesis research SR robot's PCI communication way and PR robot's serials communication way, use JAVA language and CORBA technique design and develop long range supervise and control system for two robots. This thesis make the detailed hardware design and the software development according to the implements' process and system's function molds, made use of the software engineering method to proceed the demand analysis essentials design detailed design and code compile to the system.On the other hand, this thesis research the control theories and the analyze methods of the robot system which have connected to the network , proceed theories analysis and actual surveys to the performance infection of the network postpone, put forward the system compensate concept and sampling postpone handling technique. In addition, the article still put forward some techniques that can improve the performance of the network to guarantee the successfully movement ofthe system, such as real time database technique real time renovation of the data and so on.
