For a long time, radar has taken such a important role in the target detecting and tracking field that it has been called as Clairvoyance in the war. But radar is easily jammed by electronic equipment and destroyed by counter-eradiation missile for it' s eradiating out a lot of Hertzian waves. On the contrary infrared sensor doesn' t eradiate anything. So it' s not easy to spy and position a infrared sensor. At the same time target normally can't escaped eradiating energy, so that infrared sensor has a high detecting rate. Besides these, infrared sensor has high precision, powerful target recognizing ability and so on. In conclusion infrared sensor has been a key detecting instrument as important as radar.Multiple sensors multiple targets tracking technology has a history of 30 years and it already has an integrated theory. When it comes to target tracking in infrared sensor, there are a lot of unresolved problems. Because that infrared sensor can't detect the distance of a target, the infrared sensor tracking is different from radar in point selection, tracking initiation, data association, track continuing, tracking arithmetic, track eliminate and so on. Data association and tracking arithmetic are the key problem.This thesis does work in some aspects of infrared sensor tracking based on the characteristic of infrared sensor.First, a tracking initiation method is brought forward which adapt to double infrared sensor target tracking.Second, the Current Statistical Model and Adaptive Kalman Filter are applied in infrared tracking. Be compared with Modified Spherical Coordinates tracking and Extend Kalman filter, it is proved to be high performance.Third, The Direction Probability Data Associate Function is modified to fit the characters of infrared sensor. The test results show the improvement of performance of the DPDAF arithmetic.Last, the thesis expatiates the designing and development of the emulation system.
