Campus Network Application Security Authentication And Implementation

There are lots of CWISs(Campus-Wide Information Systems) running in tjpu(TianJin PolyTechnic University) nowadays. This CWISs is supplying all kinds of servings to our leads, department, teachers and students such as all-around information serving system, all-around educational administration, choosing-course system, OA system, mail serving and so on. There must be more Application Systems and more users in our Campus network in future. This complexion can bring two problems: First, the possibility that CWISs are attacked by hacker is higer because the more and more resource in our CWISs. Second, Users have to supply their accouts and password repeatedly when they want to enter different systems, the method is to fussy, more important, can lost the password, canse fatal lost. So it isvery necessary to have a identity-authentication System to ensure the data securityand make user more convenience.To solving above problem, this article study, design and carry out TUUMS(TjpuUnify Users Management System). In 2003 lately, Tjpu will lay "smart cardtechnology", this article is helpful to the project.TUUMS can realize the following functiong: Only supply his account andpassword once ,the user can enter any system he want in valid time. But, he mustconsider as a legal user by authentication server. TUUMS is a better method tocampus network. It is not only convenient to user but also safe to System.Via studying, the ariticle designs User-Model, sofeware and hardware structureModel, system security model, and also realize the frame of system and plan thescheme.
