The Design And Application Of Campus Student Identity Authentication System

To establish the Digital Campus System, we first need to focus on the use of network security technology, and authentication is a means to protect the network security. In the process of building Digital Campus Information System, the authentication method is the basic method to ensure network security, however, with the increasing complexity of applications, some problems about authentication arise. Generally, a password within the campus network is required to enter the campus applications system, a teacher cannot browse campus network if he is off campus. In applications, teacher’s identity information is inconsistent with the student identity, therefore, the conformity of authorization framework is required. Moreover, the new applications cannot be added is a problem needed to solve.In recent years, the construction of the campus network has gradually developed into a new direction in universities. Data integration and license management need to be resolved firstly in using Digital Campus System.In this thesis, LDAP(Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) technology is used to store users’ information in building Digital Campus System. Unified certification of LDAP is used in all levels of system. In order to ensure the coupling system and integrate systems easily, unified authentication system is used in Digital Campus System. The authorization and authentication of user are also carried out which reduce the development difficulty greatly. The system implement methods and procedures of various functional modules and step depending on JAVA programming procedures. Unifying the authentication gradually is important in information security system. The method is saving login information via Card Space information card, complying single sign login within the campus network, establishing interscholastic resource sharing via trust chain. The program established a common students authentication architecture in campus network based on identity met system and Card Space, integrate all campus network teaching resources management system, and complete a series of documents. Designing a standard authentication scheme solution allowed to manage the identity uniformly in network. The website authentication is moved to Card Space, existing authentication system remains unchanged, new Card Space authentication mechanism was added. Thus, the user would get better experience of landing without function changement. Multiple accounts could be managed consistently at the same time.
