The Research Of Campus Network Security Architectures

With the popularization of Internet and the continuous growth of network construction in universities, most universities have built up their own network on campus, which have become an inseparable part of campus informationization. As an important infrastructure construction of universities, the campus network acts many roles as teaching, research, management and external communication etc. The safety of campus network impacts the teaching activities in universities directly. The problem of network safety may not be serious after as it is newly-built. But with the fast development of network on scale, it becomes the problem all universities have to face that how to keep the internet work safely and effectively.Some major network security technologies were introduced at the beginning of this paper. Based on those technologies, a systematical analysis on internet risk during the informationization of Chaohu University with problems appeared in the development of network on campus and the experience of network management in Chaohu University taken into consideration. Some new resolutions to the problem of network security were proposed and applied in the building of campus net work of Chaohu University. This scheme is a comprehensive utilization of many network technologies and has a high adaptability, which will provide reference to the building of campus network for other universities.
