Gsm Network-based Distributed Data Acquisition System

Distributed data collection system collects the data from the locales and sends the data to the computer. It is convenient for us to manage. The characteristic of the system is that the collection locales are distributed and the distance between the collection locale and the management center is very far. So the pivotal problem is the long-distance communication between the collection locale and the management center.At present, the long-distance communication includes wired communication and wireless communication. The wired communication includes LAN Internet and telephone network. The wireless communication mainly uses the digital broadcasting device. The advantage of wired communication is that the quality of communication and the character of real time are very well, but it is difficult to install and maintain and expends much money. The digital broadcasting device can solve the problem of installation and maintenance, but it is easy to be disturbed. As reason was, this dissertation discusses that GSM network is adopted to communicate the data between the collection locale and the management center and founds a distributed collection data system based on GSM network. The system has the well quality of communication, and its installation and maintenance is very easy.This system is made up of transmitter collection module the collection concentration device GSM modem and computer. The collection module sends the data to the collection concentration device, and the collection concentration device also can receive the 4-20mA electric current from the transmitter. The collection concentration device stores the data and sends the data to computer with GSM modem through GSM network. Because of the opening character of GSM network, the system also researches the problem of information security.
