With the uninterrupted growth of our country economy at high speed and the new services of banks come continuously forth, all kinds of customer self-service equipments can deal automatically with every kind of bank business has emerge as the times require. The Multi-Function Automatic Notes System of bank is the automatic financial self-service equipment that can fetch the notes from notes the box and lay the notes to the notes box, as well as it can be managed by the remote PC. Because of the particularity of the bank service, it must meet the extremely high reliability. But the Multi-Function Automatic Notes System of bank having been designed can't meet high reliability.On the basic of analysis the advantage and disadvantage of the control system of the Automatic Notes System of bank having been designed, the paper presents a new design scheme that makes full use of the CPLD and EDA technology to design a new control system. The dissertation makes use of VHDL to design an ASIC of the control system of Automatic Notes System, UART, and circular impulse distributor. The experiment results indicated that the system is superior to the old control system in size, reliability and the capability of anti-jamming. Because the system can be modified as software, although it is hardware in nature, which can be maintained and updated easier, CPLD and EDA technology have been chiefly chosen in numeric system design now.While the control system designed is presented by the paper that is only a simple experiment system, which is a great distance from its real application. But it is designed by a new method and a new design thinking, as well as CPLD is a new half-custom ASIC technology that will be used wider and wider. It is very significant to improve the numeric control system performance and enhance engineer design capacity.
