| This paper customize AutoCAD by using Visual Basic in order to study micro-irrigation computer aided design software, after investigating the present irrigation software of domestic market and overseas'. The character of micro-irrigation was also taking into account. This software integrated Visual Basic, AutoCAD, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and other software, making full use of the integrated development environment of Visual Basic, the plot function of AutoCAD, the calculation function of Excel, the database function of Access. We achieved automate design of the micro-irrigation project. The software has functions such as drawing the layout of micro-irrigation project, analyzing the levels of the pipeline network, hydraulic calculation, defining the diameter of the pipeline, selecting water pump and outfitting electromotor, forming the bill of equipment and budgetary estimate table. For the optimization of the water distribution pipeline network system, we use the least annual cost of the whole micro-irrigation system, the variables include nozzle, pipeline, water pump, electromotor and so on, genetic algorithm was applied. Finally, by using this software, we designed a small residential sprinkler irrigation project. We got the result of the calculation and budgetary estimate conveniently. The software improved the efficiency remarkably and has preferable practicability. |
