This researching subject is designed for S&T development project, a real time monitor of reciprocating machinery, proposed by Yang Zi Petrochemical Company. Using the technology of vibratory signal processing, hardware and software in computer field, and data communication in computer network, the CMD-3N system is designed for accomplish the project.This system, CMD-3N, employs embedded device, specialized AD circuit and operation system of DOS and Linux to accomplish a higher stability and reliability and make it easy to design the application program. This system adopts distributed structure internal and Browse/Server pattern external. Because of reasonable network structure, it enhances its reliability and flexibility, and can permit multi-user remote accessing. Now the system has been accomplished and tested.This paper introduces the theorem of vibratory monitor in reciprocating machinery and failure diagnosis system, and discusses the CMD-3N system from the aspects of hardware and software designing of the composed modules (communication and data collection), network topology, network communication protocol and the debug results.
